Email Opt Out for Insurance Service Integration in LP


The Insurance Service CDT Export contains a Customer Email Address field and an Email Opt Out field.

The Email Opt Out is set up as a Customer Level UDF as shown below.

In Maintenance – Company Setup – User Defined Fields

  1. Select the Company Number and Area. 
  2. Then create the UDF as shown below. 
  1.       You can use any of the unused ‘Name’ fields but the ‘Label’ needs to be exact - Insurance Notification Email Opt Out
  2.       You do not need to Pre Populate the fields as blank and ‘N’ act the same. 
  3.       If the value is set to ‘Y’ that is a Yes to opt out of Emails.
