Email Opt Out for Insurance Service Integration in LP
The Insurance Service CDT Export contains a Customer Email Address field and an Email Opt Out field.
The Email Opt Out is set up as a Customer Level UDF as shown below.
In Maintenance – Company Setup – User Defined Fields
- Select the Company Number and Area.
- Then create the UDF as shown below.
- You can use any of the unused ‘Name’ fields but the ‘Label’ needs to be exact - Insurance Notification Email Opt Out
- You do not need to Pre Populate the fields as blank and ‘N’ act the same.
- If the value is set to ‘Y’ that is a Yes to opt out of Emails.
