When you have leases with equipment located all over the U.S. and/or Canada, imagine not having to create or maintain Sales Tax Codes and rates. The Taxware (a division of govONE Solutions) Interface requires an automated process (one time only) to build the initial rate records for all jurisdictions in the U.S. and Canada. After this has been completed the monthly rate imports will keep the rates current for precise, accurate tax rates.

The Taxware Interface module is designed to update sales/use rates on a regular basis through the use of Taxware's VeraTax rate file. To use this integration program, the Taxware VeraTax rate update service will need to be purchased from Taxware and the integration module for LeasePlus will need to be loaded onto the system. The integration module for LeasePlus will update the sales tax rates in LeasePlus with the current tax rates from the monthly Taxware rate updates. The integration program allows unique sales tax rate codes to be assigned by the user for sales/use rate exceptions. After running the rate update, you then have the option to print a list of all the leases with changed rates.
