Relaying ASPIRE Email Activity through Local SMTP Servers

Clients may choose to relay their ASPIRE email activity through their SMTP servers to provide a bit more control over the email activity and allow HMTL branding within their emails.

The attached document describes how to install and configure the SMTP Relay (typically done by Marty's group) and update the ASPIRE SMTP relay settings (done by Jon's team). 

LTi To Share with Client:

·        LTI IP address to allow relay

Needed From Client:

·        Mail Server URL (client equivalent of mrelay.uk.leaseteam.net)

·        Credentials to access the Mail Server

·        Client to allow relaying from LTi IP address

·        Install local instance of SMTP server on ASPIRE server and configure it to point to their Mail server

·        Reconfigure ASPIRE to point to the local server SMTP instance installed on ASPIRE server
