The Global Setting, Credit Reports Update Legal Name from Secretary of State Report uses the MicroBilt, Additional Data Services tools to obtain SOS filing information. This report can be requested manually from either the Contract Explorer or Account Explorer, Tasks/Credit Adjudication/Credit Report screens.
- Select New Report,
- Credit Provider = MicroBilt
- Click on the Name of Business Account desired, Next
- Select Credit Report: Bureau: = Data Services, Report: = Secretary of State Search
- Select State of Incorp: if known, Next
- Click Finish
- View Report
- Verify Legal Name is updated per the report information
NOTE: Using Automation to pull the report from Contract Profile, Scorecard is not currently available as of (v5.20.32).
After being successfully configured in the MicroBilt Credit Commander, Account Access, Additional Data Sources, Business Searches options, verify it is available by using the New Application, Select Access Code (for account in question), Select Bureau = Additional Data Sources, to verify "Secratary of State Filing Search" is available. If it is not viewable but configured, contact MicroBilt Support for assistance.
