Account Is Still In Use

Account Is Still In Use

Sometimes, customers create duplicate accounts and when they try to delete them, they might encounter the warning message below.

When this happens, there a few areas to check:
  1. Account Explorer > Related Contracts
  2. Administration > Contract Profile > Account/Activity Association
  3. Tasks > A/R Transaction History (Invoicing)
    1. Scheduled Billing
    2. Miscellaneous Billing
  4. Tasks > Accounts Payable > Vendor Invoice History
If the account is tied to any of the above, then the account cannot be deleted.
