DocuSign - Date Signed Date Format

When using the DocuSign Signed Date tag in an ASPIRE document template, the DocuSign Date Signed tab will be placed in the document and presented to the signer during the DocuSign Signing Ceremony.
The Date Signed is automatically populated when the signer accesses the document.

Geographic or other reasons may cause a finance company to want to present the Date Signed in a different date format than the default. For example, if the finance company primarily works with signing parties in the UK, they may want to show the date as DD/M/YYYY.

Document Date and Time Format (DocuSign Documentation) can be used to affect this formatting. The following are the current steps to change this setting.
  1. Login to the DocuSign portal (docusign.com for Production)
  2. Click “Admin” in the top menu
  3. Under “Signing and Sending”, click “Signing Settings”
  4. Scroll down to the “Document Formatting” section
  5. Set “Current Date Format” to your desired format
  6. "Save" at the bottom of the page
