Searching for Customer Portal users

Searching for Customer Portal users

Administrators can use search and filters to find the Portal user needing assistance or management.

Portal Users

Administrators can search by the user's name (first, last, or both) or email address.
This search uses Soundex (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soundex) to identify potential matches across all searchable fields.
For example, searching by "Chris" would also return results including "Cris" and "Kris", among other phonetically-similar values, so that the Administrator need not know the exact spelling.

Info
Search results are not prioritized by exact values. In cases where many search results return, be sure to check each result page.

Filters

In addition to the Search, Administrators can further narrow the search results using available filters. These filters can also be used without input into the Search.
  1. Portal sites - select one site from the list of borrower-facing sites to narrow the results to users for that site.
  2. Status - select one or more Status values. Search results will be limited to users with one of the selected statuses

Account Access

Administrators can also search for users by their associated account.

Search

Administrators can search by associated account (most typically, a customer from ASPIRE) using the account name.
Potential matches are returned in the drop-down.

When an account is selected in the drop-down, the search results are filtered to Portal users linked to that account, regardless of whether the user is linked to other accounts.

Filter

Administrators can further filter the results by user Status.
